book review- delicate ink by carrie ann ryan
Delicate Ink by Carrie Ann Ryan
My rating: 5 of 5 stars
This was my first introduction to Carrie Ann Ryan’s work. Not usually a fan of the dom/sub genre I almost put the book down the first time it was mentioned…. and I’m so glad that I didn’t.
The Montgomery clan is a hoot and I can’t wait to get a closer look at several other family members. Sierra and Austin were both great characters, well developed, and interesting. As I already mentioned the supporting cast really enhanced the story. Solid book!

Short, sweet, and everything I’ve come to expect from an Alexa Riley book. Equal parts super, duper sweet and smoking hot.

Running into Love by Aurora Rose Reynolds

Starting the new year right by finishing this cute story. Levi is the ultimate contemporary book boyfriend. Athletic, handsome, smart detective who sets his sights on tiny Fawn after a chance encounter. Fawn was a tougher nut to crack- she’s had a rough time dating (which doesn’t necessarily jive with her adorable tinker bell looks and heart of gold). Therefore she’s resistant to Levi and their budding romance… but in weird ways. I enjoyed the story, reading about their over-the-top families, and the epilogue was perfection.

Looking for a tasty paranormal story to sate your romance thirst? Look no further! Olivia “Liv” and Warin are a winning pair and will keep you enthralled as all the supernatural creatures come out to play.
Liv is a mouthy, nerdy, oh-so-casual chick who works odd jobs and moves frequently. Warin is an ancient vampire with vast powers, loyal subjects, and a rather bleak outlook on life. After being mistaken for a vampire hussy the pair are thrown together in a twisted world of witchcraft, shapeshifters, and vampire hierarchy. At times Liv’s inability or unwillingness to grasp the serious of situations was annoying. Also- Warin is described as a 6ft muscular vampire. When Liv’s clothes were damaged she attempts to put on Warin’s pants but can’t get them past her thighs… yet the top fit fine. Am I to assume Liv is significantly pear-shaped? I spent several moments trying to imagine what she looks like and nothing comes up smelling like roses.

book review- becoming a vincent by c.m. owens
Becoming A Vincent by C.M. Owens
My rating: 5 of 5 stars
Omg! This book was fan-fucking-tasting!!! I would have given it 6 stars if I could!!! Hilarious, sexy, fun, interesting… an all around great read!!!
Tomahawk is a small lake town in Washington where the local folks are crazy. 4 families are crazy enough to be labeled “the wild ones” and relegated to separate sections of the lake to avoid catastrophe and mayhem. Lillah and her two brothers (triplets) are wild ones. Their antics make the story so much fun to read. Lillah herself is hilarious and I instantly connected with her. “Personally, if you’re running regularly, I assume you’re hiding something nefarious and practicing your getaway for whatever is coming after you. And I don’t want to be your friend, because I hate running.” Boom- after reading that Lillah became my instant best friend!
Now, what can I saw about Benson? First and foremost I LOVE how he accepts and celebrates Lillah’s craziness. His physical description is drool worth yet he’s a little too guarded which made for an interesting book but prohibits him from becoming a permanent fixture on my list of book boyfriends.
Very much looking forward to the next book in the series!!!

Horrific and wonderful. Warped beyond belief…. and I loved it. I won’t be able to sleep tonight but I can’t rate this book anything less than 5 stars.
I literally don’t know how to provide a through review without ruining the book for future readers. Download the book with an open mind and prepare to be wonderfully destroyed.
Enjoy!

BOOK REVIEW- WEREWOLVES OF THE MOUNTAIN BY ABIGAIL RAINES
Werewolves of the Mountain by Abigail Raines
My rating: 5 of 5 stars
At only 119 pages (kindle) this book is a very quick read. I discovered it during a quick perusal of the Kindle Unlimited section. While this book won’t blow you away with an in-depth look at shifter/werewolf culture; nor will it alter your perception of love and relationships. What it will do is satisfy your whimsical paranormal book cravings.
Millie is an up-and-coming fashion designer who is passionate about success. She’s putting in long hours to see her dream become a reality. So caught up in her career-she’s lost touch with most of her hometown friends and only speaks occasionally to her father. Sadly, she’s brought back into her hometown of St Neuri when her father unexpectedly passes away.
Liam- As a reader your first glimpse of his character is at a greasy hamburger shack. He begs a cup of coffee off a waitress (after shamelessly flirting) even though he’s been banned from the establishment. This gave me an impression that he was rangy and perhaps a big of a cad. Millie feels an instant lust/love towards Liam but is quickly warned off by the cafe’s waitress.
Millie and Liam have a few more run-ins which gave me a better (more favorable) opinion of Liam.
Again, the story is quick and lacks depth (due to it’s brevity) but I still rate it as a solid read for those looking for a few hours of whimsy.
